Available to students from both high schools as well those at private high schools who live in the community; the McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology houses state-of-the-art equipmentand materials in the classrooms and labs. The Center embraces rigorous academic programs and diverse technological career courses, which prepare its career-bound students for post-secondary education at two-and four-year colleges, military service, workplace entry, or advanced technical training in a variety of business, medical, and industrial fields. The low teacher-student ratio (1:20), nurturing environment, cutting edge technology, and broad array of career programs are continually cited as advantages by students.

McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology supports our district-wide, award winning “Caring About Character initiative” in which our students are taught and encouraged to follow our Lifeskills for Building Character.

Center for Innovation and Technology offers a wide range of career programs and academic classes from A+ Certification to Culinary Arts. The staff at McKenzie has been recognized as a leader in the field of integrated and applied academics. The Center was named a High Schools That Work National Demonstration Site in 1997
