Greetings McKenzie Families & Guests:
On behalf of the McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology (MCIT) faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to our program and its community of learners.
Lawrence Township students continue to have the opportunity to start their journey toward successful careers through our state-of-the-art facility and MCIT was the first Indiana Department of Education STEM-certified Career Center!
Over the summer our Robotics team hosted and participated in the Indiana Robotics Invitational (IRI), and for the first time in 10 years made it to the final round of competition! We are so proud and thankful for the students, staff, and families who support our Robotics program in addition to the other great programs that we offer.
This summer we also had several students and staff members attend national conferences and competitions for Skills USA, HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association), DECA, and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). Congratulations to all of our students who represented MCIT!
MCIT Students will continue to have the opportunity to receive college dual credit, acquire experience with experienced faculty, and may earn multiple high school credits per semester in selected courses that will apply towards their high school diploma. Work-based learning experiences apply to most programs. We look forward to great opportunities for our students and continuing to build relationships with our community.
We are excited about the 2018-19 school year and if you have any questions about McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology (MCIT), please don't hesitate to get in touch.
