Tamara Markey, 2018 McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology and LT Schools Teacher of the Year, has been selected as the 2019 Indiana Teacher of the Year! Ms. Markey teaches Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering at MCIT.
Each year, the Indiana Department of Education conducts the Indiana Teacher of the Year program to recognize outstanding classroom teachers from across the state. One person, in accordance with National Teacher of the Year guidelines, is chosen to represent Indiana at the national level.
